Fundraising and sponsorship

The club for the past few years has subsidised the younger junior’s fees especially under 11’s to try and encourage more growth in the club. So please keep this in mind when asked to help fundraise. Fundraising and Sponsorship helps keep fees down and covers the cost of trophies, training equipment, and junior goalie gear. So any help in these categories is much appreciated.

Any ideas on Sponsorship please contact the treasurer     Paul Howarth     0468 373 497

Any ideas with Fundraising please contact the Fund Raising Officer    Toby Rocha    0410 504 167

PS If you are unable to fulfil your Canteen duties you will be asked to pay $20 in cash to allow us to pay someone to do your duty.

Problem Paying Fees.

If you have any issues paying fees please see the treasurer or any committee member well in advance before they are due so we can work out how to help. Or start now online with $20 a week and you stay well ahead of the deadlines.

Indoor and Summer Comps

Please find details for an indoor competition that the association is thinking of running.

It is on the same night as our planned summer comp.

If your not sure which one to join, consider this:

  • If your relatively new to hockey then the summer comp is more suited and will give you a chance to learn in a fun environment.
  • Indoor is a fast pace and quick decision making game. Great for experienced players who wish to push themselves.

Expressions of Interest sought – Indoor Hockey Competition

All,

As an association we are looking at our plans for Indoor Hockey in 2016.

We have the opportunity to secure the Minto Indoor Sports Complex (9 Redfern Rd, Minto NSW 2566) weekly on a Tuesday night and semi regally on a Sunday. As such it is our intention to run a mixed Junior and Senior comp on a Tuesday night as well as U/11 development days and representative team training on a Sunday.

The competition would commence the week following the completion of the Narellan Outdoor Competition. The completion would use standard Indoor rules (remembering that we have reverted to 6 players on the court) however it is mixed and we would expect teams to ensure that there is a minimum of 3 female players on the court at all times.

Initial plans are:
Tuesday Night (Between 5pm and 10pm)
·         Junior Mixed U/13
·         Junior Mixed U/15
·         Junior Mixed U/18
·         Mixed Senior

We would like to understand the demand for this competition and would ask that all Clubs or interested parties confirm their interest via the following link:

We are also looking for volunteers to fill the following positions to assist in the running and organisation of the Indoor Competition and our Representative teams:

1)      Competition Convener
2)      Indoor Draw
3)      Umpire Coordinator
4)      Representative Teams
5)      Representative Selector

If you are interested in any of these positions please lodge your nomination and preferred position using the following link:
